Adventures on the Big Blue Marble

Saturday, January 18th   Program Start Time: 10:30 am  Program Length: 1 1/2 hrs. 

The differences between Belize City, Belize and Churchill, Canada are striking and numerous.  One city is located in a tropical rain forest while the other exists in a subarctic climate.  It is what they have in common however, that is the focus of this presentation.   Both communities rely very heavily on eco-tourism to support their economies and their conservation efforts.  Join Pfeiffer Nature Center Program Coordinator Bev Jones and Nature Enthusiast Barb Busack as they share their adventures to these unique and beautiful parts of the world.  This event is will be held at The Portville Free Library, 2 North Main Street, Portville, New York 14770. Fee:  Free for members, $5 for non-members and free for children 13 and under.  Minors must be accompanied by an adult.  Register for our programs online , or contact the office at 716-933-0187 by Tuesday, January 16th or at the time of the program.
